Day 02: After breakfast Visit to Munneswaram Temple, Manavari Temple, And Proceed to Trincomalle.
Manavari Temple- Manavari s the first place where Lord Rama installed the Siva Lingam and prayed after the end of the war with King Ravana.
Munneshwaram temple- is an important regional Hindu temple complex in Sri Lanka. It has been in existence at least since 1000 CE, although myths surrounding the temple associate it with the popular Indian epic Ramayana and its legendary hero-king Rama. The temple is one of five ancient temples (Ishwarams) dedicated to Shiva in the region.
Trincomalee Visit, Shankari Devi Temple
The famed SHANKARI Temple, in Sri Lanka, is one of the 18 Devi Temples (Ashta Dasha Shakti Peethas). Many have heard the Ashtadasha Shakti Peetha Shloka starting with LANKAAYAAM SHAANKARI DEVI. composed by Sri Adi Shankara which means Shankari in Lanka. This Shloka enumerates the list of places of Devi temples which are considered to be part of the 18 Devi Peethas.
Visit, Koneswaram temple
Koneswaram temple of Trincomalee (also historically known as the Thirukonamamalai Konesar Kovil, the Temple of the Thousand Pillars and Thiru-Konamamalai Maccakeswaram Kovil) is a Hindu temple in Trincomalee, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka venerated by Saivites throughout the continent. It is built atop Swami Rock, a rocky promontory cape overlooking Trincomalee, a classical period harbor port town.

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara- Eliya via visiting Hanuman temple & Seetha Amman Temple.
Hanuman Temple-On The hills of Ramboda Where Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi chinamaya mission of Sri Lanka built temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity. On every full moon day special pooja’s are conducted and witnessed by thousand devotees. This temple is called Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple. The image of Lord Hanuman here is 16 feet.
Gaythri Peedam is believed to be the place from where King Ravana’s son Meghan propitiated Lord Siva with penance and pooja’s and in turn was granted super natural powers by Lord Siva. This the first and the foremost temple built for Gaythri Amman in Sri Lanka & Siva Lingam found in this temple was brought from the holy river Narmada.
Seetha Amman Temple The stream that runs from the hill catered to needs of Sitadevi during her stay at Asoka Vatika. She is said to have bathed in this stream. Now there is temple for Lord Rama, Sitadevi, Lakshmana and Hanuman by the side of this stream. It is interesting to note that foot print akin to Lord Hanuman is found by the river and some are the small size and some are large size, which tell us of the immense power of Hanuman transforming his self into any size.
Nuwara Eliya meaning "city on the plain (table land)" or "city of light” is a town in the central highlands of Sri Lanka with a picturesque landscape and temperate climateNuwara Eliya, most famous hill resort in Sri Lanka, is located at the altitude of 2000 meters. Land of the renowned Ceylon tea, the waving mountains of Nuwara Eliya is carpeted by green tea plantations, punctuated with bubbling streams and waterfalls. This picturesque town is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. It was once favorite hill station of the British in Sri Lanka. Then visit Gregory’s lake and also able to see golf course and if you like you can enjoy horse riding as well.
Divrumpola – means a ‘place of oath’. This is the place where Sita underwent the “Agni” test. She came unscathed and proved her innocence and purity.

Day 05 : After breakfast proceed to Katharagama via Rawana water falls and Rawana cave and Divrumpola
Divrumpola- Means a ‘place of oath. This is the place where Sitadevi underwent “Agni” test , Rawana cave & Ravana water falls later visit the Kataragama shrine, dedicated to God Skanda (Murugan) the God of Love and War. It is believed that this Devala was started in the 2nd Century B.C. by King Dutugemunu (167 –137 B.C.). Today Kataragama is a place of worship for Buddhists, Hindus and some Muslims.This is a very popular place of pilgrimage for south Indian Hindus as it is said that God Kataragama came from India, married a Jungle Girl from Sri Lanka and lived here. When his Indian wife came in search of him he refused to go back. The legend has it that all of them lived here happily thereafter. There are separate shrines for the two wives, Tevani Amman Kovil for the Indian wife and Valli Amman Kovil for the Sri Lankan wife.
Visit Ganesh temple at Sella Kataragama.
Outside of Kataragama is the small town of Sella Kataragama and the drive is pleasant and enjoyable. It is said that this is the place where God Kataragama first met his first consort Valli Amma. over night at Kataragama.
Day 06 :After breakfast proceed to Bentota.
Bentota- located in the southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka. Bentota is known for its stretches of indigo sea and golden sands. The village of Bentota remains to be peaceful, making it the perfect, beach sanctuary to escape into. Staying true to its location the village is renowned for water sports that exploit the lagoon, river and sea. Evening Boat ride in Bentota Lagoon Overnight stay at Bentota/Kalutara.
Day 07: After Breakfast, Proceed to Colombo before Drop at Air Port.
Colombo is the trade capital of Sri Lanka, and is a city that has under gone rapid changes. While most of old buildings have been replaced by new apartments and office buildings, some parts of city yet retains in old charm. The 100 years old clock tower built by the British and some colonial buildings remain examples. The independence square, Nelum Pokuna, Pettah Bazaar and BMICH are some of the main highlights of the city. Colombo also provides ample entertainment in term of an active, as well as a shopping experience you’d never forget
Having lunch and transfer to the Air Port.
