Day 1

Arrive Srinagar


Arrive at Srinagar airport, transfer to Hotel / Houseboat, evening Shikara ride and overnight stay at Hotel / Houseboat.

Day 2

Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil


Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings. The drive to Sonmarg (85km) is another spectacular fact of country side in Kashmir in Sindh Valley. The Sindh valley is the largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. Drive Kargil the road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonmarg (2740mtrs). After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass (62km from Sonmarg) the gate way of Ladakh. Continue drive towards Drass. 40km from Zojila pass (the second coldest inhibited place in the world). Another 58km, two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710mtrs) which has got its importance after opening the Ladakh for tourists in 1974. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Kargil to Leh (235km)


Depart from Kargil after early breakfast, en-route visit the monastery of Mulbekh, situated 45km from Kargil and 260km from Leh, Monastery is famous for its two Gompa and the nine mtr tall statue of Maitreya Buddha, after drive to Lamayuru (65km from Mulbekh) Lamayuru monastery is the oldest and one of the largest monastery in Ladakh region. The monastery belongs to red-hat sect of Buddhism. After drive to Alchi (60km from Lamayuru), Sightseeing of the 1000 years old Alchi monastery the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. After proceed to Lirik monastery to vist the splendid three stores Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you will be awestruck with the sight of the massive Buddha statues. Indus and Zanskar river Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurudawara and Magnetic hill. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4

Leh – Hemis, Thiksey and Shey Palace – Shanti Stupa and Market


After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45km west of Leh. Hemis is the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis you drive back taking the same route to visit Thiksey monastery, located on a hill lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy of its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular pray books, stacked between wooden cove and bounded with silk. After that we continue drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the king of Ladakh. Evening drive to visit Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace later in the evening walk around the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Tour of Kardungla Pass ( 18380ft)


After breakfast drive 120 km 4/5 hrs to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass ( highest motorable road in the world 18380ft) Arrive at Hundur by afternoon. Rest of the day, post lunch free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6

Diskit monastery ( 515 years old)


After breakfast visit Diskit monastery and drive back to Leh by same route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Reach Leh by afternoon. Evening free time at Leisure to explore Leh market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

Tour of Pangong Lake


After early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14500ft) it is the highest land locked Lake through Changla Pass 17350ft. it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong Lake it is the highest salt water Lake in the world, shared by two countries India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks of Pangong Lake while appreciating the changing color and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 8

Pangong Lake


Morning walk around lake, after breakfast drive back to Leh, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9

Leh – Taglang La – Lachulung La – Nakee La – Sarchu (255km)


After breakfast drive from Leh to Sarchu, En-route crossing Taglang La pass, 110km from Leh (Taglang la pass which is at the hight of 5350mts and is the second highest motorable pass in the world). Lachulung La pass (88km from Taglang La pass) at 5065m Nakee La pass (20km from Lachulung La) at 4739m, continues drive to Sarchu (37km). Sarchu is the last inhabited point in the Himachal Pradesh on the Manali – Leh Route which is regarded as one of the highest highways in the world. Overnight stay at the camp in Sarchu.

Day 10

Sarchu – Baralacha La pass – Zingzingbar – Darcha


After breakfast drive to Manali, en-route we cross Baralacha La pass (40km from Sarchu) 5030m after we cross Zingzingbar 4270m after drive to Darcha 33km from zingzingbar after drive towards Jispa. We will see the beautiful village Jispa, the village is situated at the junction of two nullahs with the main river Bhaga. Jispa have very large dry river bed, a rarity in Lahaul. Proceed to Rothang pass 3978m is most popular with visitors, being one of the highest road point and gateway to LAHAUL and SPITI valleys. Pass remains closed during winter due to heavy snow from November end to May end. After drive towards Manali (52km). arrive at Manali Overnight stay at th hotel.

Day 11

Depart Manali


In the morning check out from hotel transferred to bus stand or airpot.
