BHALUKPONG
Bhalukpung is a small town located along
the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal
Pradesh in India. The town is located at 213m above sea level, 100 km from
Bomdila, 52 km from Tezpur and 5 km from Tipi. It lies along the Kameng river
and is the headquarters of Bhalukpung circle Tourist attractions in Bhalukpong
include the Pakhui Game Sanctuary and Tipi Orchidariurm, which hosts over
2600 cultivated orchids from 80 different species. Bhalukpong Fort was

The Sangestar Tso, formerly called

MPankang Teng Tso, also known as PTSO Lake,
is a high-altitude lake located in the Tawang district. It is situated at an
elevation of about 4,600 meters (15,100 feet) above sea level, and is
surrounded by snow-capped mountains and scenic landscapes
TAWANG
The
name Tawang means "horse chosen". It is said to be the biggest
Buddhist monastery in the world outside of Lhasa, Tibet. It is a major holy
site for Tibetan Buddhists as it was the birthplace of the sixth Dalai Lama.
BUMLA PASS
The Bum La Pass is a border pass between
China's Tsona County in Tibet and India's Tawang district in Arunachal Pradesh.
It is 37 km away from the town of Tawang in India's Tawang district and 43 km
from the town of Tsona Dzong in China's Tsona County.
The road to Bum La is also a historical route, the People's Liberation Army of China invaded India during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Here in Bum La Pass one of the fiercest battles, the Battle of Bum La Pass, took place in the 1962 Sino-Indian War.

Close to the Pass is the beautiful Sela Lake, a heart-shaped lake chiseled between the mountains, which intensifies the beauty of the region. The Lake is mostly frozen in winter. The Sela Pass is the main route to access Tawang town and is located 78 km before reaching Tawang. Jung Falls: The Nuranang falls (original name) @6000 feet is located about 40 km before reaching Tawang is famed as one of the most stunning waterfalls in North East India.
