Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a Theravada Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The temple is often referred to as "Doi Suthep" although this is actually the name of the mountain where it is located. It is a sacred site to many Thai people
Hiking Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. It is a heavily trafficked round-trip monk trail located near Chiang Mai city that features a waterfall and is rated moderate. While many tourists don't know about this trail, it's pretty popular among ex-pats who live in Chiang Mai to hike up to the Doi Suthep temple (Wat Phra That Doi Suthep) along what's called Monk's Trail. The entire hike up is in the forest, and parts of it are along a creek with some nice waterfalls here and there, so we recommend doing it. The view of the city is also very nice. Besides enjoying the natural route and relaxing time at Mon ThaThan waterfall, there is a small scenic waterfall. Experience the movement of clouds, wind, trees, flowers, grass, and the movement of small little animals that live together in the fertile forest.
Discover the architectural wonders of Chiang Rai on a day trip that covers both the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten), and the Golden Triangle
Black Museum" is the sixth and final episode of the fourth series of anthology series Black Mirror. It was directed by Colm McCarthy and written by series creator Charlie Brooker, with one part adapted from a story by Penn Jillette. The episode premiered on Netflix, along with the rest of series four, on 29 December 2017. The episode is divided into three stories, told by Rolo Haynes (Douglas Hodge), the owner of a remote Black Museum. He tells the visitor Nish (Letitia Wright) about the backstories of exhibits, which involve his previous employment in experimental technologies.
The Blue Temple is immediately recognizable for its brilliant shade of rich sapphire. The temple walls, roof, and surrounding statues are all covered in this gorgeous hue, an unusual decorative choice in a country where most temples are made of gold. This color is symbolically associated with purity, wisdom, and the lack of materialism that Buddhists aspire to.
